Akhannouch reviewed, on Wednesday during a joint session in the two houses of Parliament, the government's work record in the economic, social, and political fields, highlighting that the current government term was a testament to resilience and a starting point for a series of gains, thanks to the high royal directives. The Head of Government presented, in his speech inside the Parliament, the most prominent reforms undertaken by the government in a number of vital sectors, especially those related to revitalizing the national economy, managing the repercussions of successive crises, and implementing major social projects, foremost of which is the generalization of social protection, supporting the purchasing power of citizens, and reforming the education and health systems, while highlighting the measures taken to address the challenges related to international fluctuations, the effects of drought, and rising prices, in an international context characterized by uncertainty. He pointed out that the presentation of this review falls within an exceptional circumstance marked by rapid developmental dynamism, emphasizing that it is a weighty constitutional moment that will remain etched in the national memory, as a pivotal station for renewing collective awareness and rearranging priorities according to the logic of a strong state and a cohesive society. On the level of challenges, Akhannouch stressed that the current government term, despite the constraints related to the unstable regional environment and internal and external challenges, has been a testament to resilience and a starting point for achieving important gains, thanks to the combined national efforts. He also noted that the high royal vision contributed to establishing a qualitative shift in the state's relationship with the citizen, based on strengthening trust and consolidating the principles of good governance. On the other hand, the Head of Government explained that this path aims to build a new Morocco based on a responsible national contract, which goes beyond the logic of slogans towards consolidating mutual trust and achieving tangible results, stressing that what has been achieved reflects the efficiency of the performance of constitutional institutions in supporting the path of democratic reform. Akhannouch concluded that the next stage requires continuing the same reform momentum, while increasing the efficiency of implementing public policies and ensuring the sustainability of the gains, in a way that meets the aspirations of Moroccans and enhances the Kingdom's position as an emerging country capable of facing various challenges.
