The fans of the Algerian Union of Algiers club sent a message of support today, Sunday, to their former player, Reda El Hajhouj, who is under pre-trial detention following a judicial investigation related to a case of assault and battery and forming a criminal gang.
The fans raised messages of solidarity with the player in front of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, before heading towards the city of Safi, where the Algerian team is playing against their host, Olympique de Safi, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup football competition.
This support comes at a time when the sports scene is awaiting the outcome of the case, which is still under investigation, without final judicial rulings being issued against the player so far.
