US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday evening, September 2, that US forces are ready to launch new strikes on Iran "at any time," following the resumption of hostilities between the United States and Iran, ending a month-long period of calm.
The US President told the press: "Last night, we destroyed much more than just a radar. Last night's attack was very violent, and we are ready to launch another attack at any time," referring to the US strikes that targeted, on Tuesday evening, Iranian air defense sites, radar systems, and naval facilities.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) had clarified, via the "X" platform, that "US forces targeted sites belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps," including air defense sites, radar systems, as well as naval facilities.
