The road connecting Sebt Gzoula and Ithnain Laghyath witnessed a state of alert yesterday, Wednesday evening, following a field pursuit initiated by elements of the Royal Gendarmerie at the Had Harrara center. The operation resulted in the seizure of a truck and several vehicles that were loaded with inflatable speedboats equipped with engines.
According to preliminary information circulating, this operation came after a chase on the aforementioned road, amidst intensive security activity by the Royal Gendarmerie.
The nature of the seized items raises questions about the purpose of transporting these boats, pending what the investigations and inquiries that may be initiated by the competent authorities will reveal to determine the circumstances of the incident and the potentially involved parties.
