A 31-year-old young man breathed his last yesterday, Thursday, at the Mohammed V Hospital in Tangier, succumbing to serious injuries sustained from an attack with a bladed weapon that occurred in the early hours of dawn in the Spanish Quarter.
According to available information, the incident necessitated the intervention of security and civil protection services. The victim was quickly transferred to the emergency department to receive necessary treatment, but he passed away due to his wounds.
Testimonies from some witnesses indicate the possible involvement of minors in this assault. According to the same accounts, they were at a gathering consuming alcoholic beverages before the incident occurred, information that has not yet been confirmed by the investigation results.
Concurrently, the specialized security services have initiated an investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution to determine the circumstances and details of the incident, identify the suspected perpetrators, and take the necessary legal actions.
