The General Directorate of Meteorology expects to record thunderstorms with the possibility of hail and wind gusts on Sunday and Monday in several regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate clarified, in an orange-level alert bulletin, that thunderstorms (30 to 50 mm) are expected with the possibility of hail and wind gusts in the provinces and prefectures of Errachidia, Tinghir, Al Haouz, Boulemane, Midelt, Zagora, and Figuig, starting from ten in the morning on Sunday until noon on Monday.
The same source added that thunderstorms (20 to 30 mm) with the possibility of hail and wind gusts will also affect the provinces and prefectures of Sefrou, Chefchaouen, Tetouan, Ouazzane, Al Hoceima, Jerada, Taounate, Taza, Ouarzazate, Beni Mellal, Fqih Ben Saleh, Azilal, Chichaoua, Kelaat Sraghna, Fahs-Anjra, M'diq-Fnideq, and Taourirt, on Sunday from ten in the morning until midnight.
