HIBAPRESS – Khalil Fzazi
The Chamber of Traditional Industries for the Guelmim-Oued Noun region has denied the circulating news regarding the escape of a number of Moroccan traditional artisans during their participation in the international exhibition organized in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, confirming that these data are not based on confirmed or correct information.
The Chamber called for accuracy and verification of news before circulating or publishing it, warning of the repercussions that may result from promoting inaccurate data, whether on the reputation of traditional artisans or their participation in international events and exhibitions.
The Chamber affirmed that these participations constitute an important opportunity to introduce Moroccan traditional products, highlight the richness of the national artisanal heritage, and open new horizons for marketing traditional products and communicating with stakeholders and professionals in international markets.
In the same context, the institution emphasized its continued efforts to support and accompany artisans through training, qualification, and improving marketing opportunities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Moroccan traditional industries and expanding their presence at both national and international levels.
This clarification reiterates the importance of verifying news sources, especially when it concerns the reputation of professionals and their external participation, ensuring the circulation of accurate and responsible information away from rumors and unproven data.
