Within the framework of ongoing efforts to ensure discipline and reduce chaos in the streets of Marrakech, police elements in the first security zone of Guéliz launched a large-scale campaign on Friday evening to combat the phenomenon of illegal parking on Al-Muzdalifah Street. The campaign resulted in the seizure of many violating cars and the issuance of reports against the violators.
During this campaign, security elements directed warnings to drivers who park their cars illegally in places not designated for parking, in addition to imposing financial fines on violators. Many cars that were obstructing traffic were also towed away. Many citizens praised the efforts made by the security elements, in order to deter violations on the public street, as well as to reduce the chaos caused by the owners of cars that impede traffic.
