The First President of the Court of Cassation, the Delegate President of the High Council of the Judicial Authority, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, discussed today in Rabat with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom.
A statement from the High Council of the Judicial Authority stated that these talks come within the framework of strengthening cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the judicial and legal field, and exchanging experiences and best practices between the judicial institutions in both countries. On this occasion, the statement adds, Abdennabaoui reviewed the important steps that the Kingdom has taken in the path of reforming the justice system, under the wise leadership of King Mohammed VI, the President of the High Council of the Judicial Authority, highlighting the independence of the judiciary and the distinguished Moroccan model in managing judicial affairs. For his part, Aliyev praised the strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries, expressing his appreciation for the development witnessed by the Moroccan judiciary, and affirming his country's desire to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and activate joint programs that serve justice and judicial security in both countries. The statement indicated that this reception falls within the continuous openness policy of the High Council of the Judicial Authority to various international experiences, and the strengthening of institutional communication with international partners, which contributes to enriching the national judicial experience and developing its working mechanisms.
