Pilgrims to the Sacred House of God began arriving at the Arafat site on Tuesday, wearing white ihram clothes and their voices chanting the Talbiyah call, in preparation for performing the greatest pillar in the faith journey that the hearts of Muslims around the world long for.
The pilgrims spent the night in the Al-Mina site after spending the day of Tarwiyah there, following the example of the Messenger of God, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, amid complete fluidity in movement under the close monitoring of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, security, health, and service authorities.
The spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Abdul Aziz Abdul Baqi, said in a press conference that "the general health condition of the pilgrims is stable and safe," noting that "no cases of outbreaks or impactful epidemics" have been detected.
The spokesperson advised the guests of the Most Gracious to be keen on drinking plenty of water and fluids and using personal umbrellas while avoiding direct exposure to the sun's rays during peak hours in light of the high temperatures at this time of year.
