HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
From the Mounflory district in Fes Sais, Khaled Al-Ajali, the candidate of the Popular Movement Party for the South Fes constituency, chose to launch his election campaign with a field tour accompanied by Rim Shabbi, the party's candidate for the North Fes constituency, and politician Hamid Shabbi.
The tour provided an opportunity for the candidate to engage with citizens and merchants, moving away from closed meetings. A part of the communication focused on listening to the concerns of residents and the feedback of commercial actors, and introducing Al-Ajali's perspectives on a number of local issues.
During his movements in Mounflory, the Popular Movement candidate focused on issues related to the daily lives of residents, such as commercial activity, services, stimulating the local economy, encouraging investment, and job opportunities. These are files that form part of the ongoing electoral debate in the city.
Al-Ajali's entry into these elections through the Popular Movement comes after a previous electoral experience in the South Fes constituency, during which he managed to win a parliamentary seat in the previous by-election in the name of the National Rally of Independents party and was considered one of the best parliamentarians, before engaging in the current competition with a new political color.
The campaign launch also featured a remarkable presence of Rim Shabbi and Hamid Shabbi, a scene that reflects field coordination within the ranks of the Popular Movement in Fes, while the movements of various candidates and lists continue in preparation for election day.
As the date of September 23 approaches, the electoral competition in South Fes enters its most sensitive stages, amid anticipation of what the final days of the campaign will bring, and whether direct communication with voters will be one of the most prominent aspects of the next phase.
