HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Field information circulated on Wednesday, indicating that individuals affiliated with a candidate from one of the parties were distributing sums of money to a number of voters, in the vicinity of a polling station near the Sidi El Khair area in the Al-Hassani neighborhood of Casablanca.
According to the circulated information, the matter was not limited to the distribution of money, but also included the presence of a number of individuals affiliated with the candidate's entourage, who were reportedly continuing to guide some voters, especially women, and attempting to influence their electoral choices, amidst talk of cases of payment and harassment around the polling station.
This comes in the context of the electoral day witnessed by the country, where voters are supposed to be able to exercise their right to vote freely and personally, away from any influence or pressure.
