Samir Koudar, a member of the political bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), announced that the data the party has received regarding the legislative election results places it at the forefront of the contest, pending the official announcement of the results by the Ministry of Interior.
Koudar stated, in a brief statement from the party's central headquarters in Rabat on Wednesday night, that the results available to PAM so far indicate the party's lead, without revealing the number of seats it expects to win.
The Ministry of Interior had announced that the final participation rate in the House of Representatives elections reached 38.02 percent, noting the start of the vote counting and tallying process immediately after the polling stations closed at 7 PM.
