Starting Monday, October 5, 2026, the National Broadcasting and Television Corporation (SNRT) began broadcasting the new radio season's programming, featuring a collection of program networks that combine news coverage and analysis, discussion and interaction with listeners, and the provision of service, religious, cultural, and entertainment content that caters to their diverse interests, on the airwaves of "Radio Mohammed VI for the Holy Quran," "Radio Al Wataniya," "Radio Amazigh," the international radio "Chaîne Inter," and the network of regional radios.
The programming for the 2026-2027 radio season aims to consolidate the public radio's presence in the daily lives of citizens, nationally and regionally; and to solidify its position among listeners' primary choices, after achieving a total coverage of 9.37 million listeners during the current year 2026, with an average individual listening time of 30 minutes and 20 seconds.
These indicators were achieved thanks to Radio Mohammed VI for the Holy Quran topping the national rankings with a coverage of 7.63 million listeners, followed by "Radio Al Wataniya" and "Chaîne Inter" with a combined total of 4 million listeners, then "Radio Amazigh" with 2.9 million listeners.
Radio Mohammed VI for the Holy Quran.. Programs that Reinforce Values and Keep Pace with Listeners' Interests
The program network of Radio Mohammed VI for the Holy Quran is adorned with a range of purposeful and diverse programs that reflect a religious orientation based on the unity of doctrine, creed, and behavior. These programs draw from the values of moderation, balance, and openness inspired by the guidance of the Holy Quran and the noble Sunnah of the Prophet, especially in light of the royal message's themes on the occasion of celebrating the fifteenth centenary of the Prophet's birth, peace be upon him.
These contents are complemented by the radio's regular appointments and programs, which include Quranic recitations, teaching and interpretation of the Holy Quran, Hadith and the Prophet's biography, as well as religious, educational, and interactive programs that allow listeners to ask their questions and communicate with scholars and specialists. This also includes coverage of religious events and occasions, contributing to the dissemination of religious knowledge, the reinforcement of spiritual and ethical values, and the preservation of the distinctiveness of Moroccan religiosity.
Among the most prominent programs of the new season is "The Chronicle of the Book of Healing in Defining the Rights of the Chosen One, peace be upon him," which discusses the rights of the noble Prophet (PBUH) and conveys to listeners the inherited Moroccan tradition of reciting this book in mosques and zawias, in its authentic Moroccan form, documenting this unique religious text and tradition. The radio also presents "The Competitors," an interactive competition program that tests participants' self-awareness, Quranic knowledge, value-based general culture, and digital vigilance, in a contemporary suspenseful style that appeals to the intellect and conscience. Additionally, there is the program "Zakat: Objectives and Rulings," which hosts specialized scholars to explain the rulings of Zakat, simplify them, and enlighten listeners with its objectives, in light of the Holy Quran and the fatwa of the Supreme Council of Religious Scholars on this matter.
"Radio Al Wataniya".. An Open Forum for All
The new network for "Radio Al Wataniya" gives a primary place to news and discussions on current issues. From the early hours of the morning, the program "Sabah Biladi" follows national and international developments through news, analysis, and the hosting of specialists, alongside segments relevant to citizens, agriculture, and the economy. Throughout the day, dialogue appointments continue, including "A Date for Discussion," "Frontline Files," "Debate," and "Encounter with the Press," which offer multi-angled readings of the political and social issues in public discourse.
"Radio Al Wataniya" also pays attention in its programming to listeners' interests in family affairs, health, nutrition, and education through "Open Forum." In the program "Give Me Your Opinion," the airwaves are opened to discuss daily life issues with public participation. Interactive sessions with listeners and participation of mental health experts are also scheduled in programs such as "In the Stillness of the Night." Furthermore, it covers the concerns of Moroccans abroad through the program "Watani."
Youth have a presence in this network through "Youth Voice," which gives them the opportunity to discuss issues that concern them and express their opinions, alongside programs related to education and culture, including "Here is the University" and "Orbit."
The network also includes appointments to follow parliamentary affairs and major national projects with segments like "From the Heart of Parliament" and "Morocco of Challenges," as well as sports and music programs and radio dramas that recall the National Radio's legacy of dramatic works.
Radio Amazigh: Programs that Enhance Diversity and Proximity to the Listener
At Radio Amazigh, the new season is characterized by a diverse program network based on proximity to the listener and interaction with their interests, combining politics, dialogue, society, services, sports, religion, culture, and entertainment. The network includes political and dialogue programs such as "Political Dialogue," "Geopolitics," "The Path of Democracy," and "Local Affairs," alongside programs addressing daily life, such as "Society and Law," "Family Matters," and "Listener's Health," as well as various sports and religious programs.
The network also pays attention to different audience segments through programs aimed at women, youth, and children, and others that enhance listener interaction and follow the issues of Moroccans abroad. There is also a prominent presence of Amazigh culture and arts through programs like "Amazigh Dictionary," "The Amazigh Language," and "Poets' Council," in addition to musical and entertainment programs, thereby reinforcing the renewal of the program offering, enhancing proximity and interaction, and solidifying the presence of the Amazigh language and culture.
"Chaîne Inter": News, Culture, and Interaction with All Generations
Within its new season, "Chaîne Inter" offers a network based on a variety of news, interactive, and cultural appointments. The program "Inter Matin" accompanies listeners during the morning period, while "Interactivité" provides a space for direct communication on topics concerning their daily lives. "Le grand format de l’info" dedicates an extended period to news coverage, in addition to news bulletins in French, Spanish, and English.
The network opens up to the interests of different generations through "Tendance et Influence" and "Génération connectée," and to cultural activity through "Chaîne Inter Culture." The radio also continues to dedicate space for free expression and interaction in "Libre Antenne," alongside musical appointments including "Club Jazz," and programs addressing Moroccans abroad.
Regional Radios.. Proximity and Local Issues on the Airwaves
For its part, the regional radios of Tangier, Tetouan, Al Hoceima, Oujda, Fez, Meknes, Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Laayoune, and Dakhla are strengthening their role in keeping pace with the concerns of residents in various regions, through programs that follow local affairs and provide services and information in the fields of health, education, agriculture, environment, economy, and sports. They also open the door to associations' initiatives, the voices of women and youth, and highlight the cultural, artistic, and linguistic heritage that distinguishes each region.
In this context, Agadir Radio proposes, among its appointments, "Citizen's Voice" to convey listeners' concerns. Meknes Radio presents "Environment Voice" and "Youth On Live." Tetouan Radio dedicates the program "How is the Market Today?" to follow trade and prices. Laayoune Radio continues to focus on proximity issues and Hassani heritage through "In the Service of the Citizen" and "Your Heritage, Never Forget It." Dakhla Radio addresses the transformations in the region through "A Window on the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region," in addition to "Digital Club" and "From the Core of Hassani Culture."
The Casablanca regional radio network combines family, health, sports, economic, and cultural programs. The program "Citizen Associations" will be broadcast every Tuesday after the 2 PM bulletin and repeated on Sunday after the 3 PM bulletin. The program "From the Countryside" will be broadcast alternately with "The Scout" every Sunday after the 12 PM bulletin, and the episode will be repeated on Wednesday after the 5 PM bulletin.
These rich program networks reflect the SNRT's commitment to providing a public radio offering that combines reliable news, responsible discussion, and services close to citizens, while making room for diverse cultural and regional expressions and expanding opportunities for listener participation in programs that address them and listen to them.
