HIBAPRESS
Recent rainfall has revealed the deteriorating condition of the weekly market "Had Oulad Ziane," affiliated with the territorial commune of Oulad Ziane, in the Kalaat province of Berrechid. This has led to discontent among many of its visitors regarding the state of the commercial space.
Local sources reported that the market is suffering from a dire situation, evidenced by the spread of mud in front of many traders following the rainfall, in addition to the emission of foul odors around the weekly slaughterhouse. This raises questions about the maintenance of this facility and the attention given to its operational conditions.
The same sources added that the market attendees, who come weekly from neighboring cities and regions, are surprised by the continuation of this situation, especially since the headquarters of the territorial commune is located next to the main entrance of the market.
According to local sources, this situation has once again raised questions about the entity responsible for managing and maintaining this commercial space, at a time when the rural population relies on weekly markets to meet their commercial needs.
In the same context, sources indicated that a number of other weekly markets in the province of Berrechid are also suffering, according to their description, from signs of neglect, despite the commercial services they provide to the residents of rural areas.
