HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Zerouikh
The suffering of families and students in the village of Tine mallal, affiliated with the commune of Oulad Daoud Azkhenin in the Nador province, continues amidst the ongoing closure of the school. This situation has prompted residents to issue an appeal to the responsible authorities to reopen the educational institution and put an end to what they described as daily suffering that burdens the children and their families.
According to the village residents, the school closure has forced students to pursue their education in an institution far from their place of residence, making reaching classrooms a daily challenge. This is particularly true in light of travel difficulties and the accompanying additional financial burdens borne by families, in addition to growing concerns about the safety of children during their frequent journeys.
The repercussions of this situation, according to the residents' demands, are not limited to the hardship of the road and travel costs alone, but extend to the issue of equal opportunities in accessing education, as it is a fundamental right that should be guaranteed to all students, regardless of their social circumstances or the distance of their residential areas from educational institutions.
In the face of this situation, the residents of Tine mallal have directed an appeal to the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports in Nador, and other concerned authorities, demanding urgent intervention to find a solution that ends their children's suffering. They are calling for the reopening of the school or the implementation of necessary measures to ensure their education in safe and suitable conditions, hoping that their request will be met, away from the continued suffering of students and their families.
