The Royal Maritime Coast off the Oureora region in the province of Tantan is preparing to host military drills, including aerial firing, from October 26 to November 6, 2026, according to a maritime notice issued by the Tantan Maritime Fishing Delegation.
These maneuvers will take place daily from 7 AM to 6 PM within a specified maritime area, requiring fishing boat captains and professionals to take necessary precautions and stay away from the designated area throughout the duration of the drills. The competent authorities have called on sailors to adhere to safety measures and exercise caution to avoid any potential risks, especially as the maritime area between the port of Oued Laou and the White Beach experiences significant activity from fishing vessels, particularly sardine fishing boats.
