Residents of the Tata region experienced a tragic night on Friday evening, Saturday, due to heavy rainfall.
The provinces and districts of the region have experienced floods that have submerged the streets and homes of residents, causing significant material losses.
Numerous videos are circulating documenting flooded homes, torrential rains washing away a bus carrying passengers and rising valley levels causing a bridge to collapse.
Residents had to climb mountains to escape the floods and seek help from local authorities and rescue teams.
The blockage of most roads leading to the area and continuous power cuts have resulted in the absence of accurate and correct data on the fate of the region’s residents.
The toll from the floods on Friday night and Saturday is not yet known, as several sources speak of recorded deaths, while others confirm that only material losses were recorded.
