The Secretary General of the Party of Progress and Socialism, Nabil Benabdallah, commented on the floods that occurred in the Tata region, following heavy rainfall.
Benabdallah said in a blog post on his Facebook account: “A catastrophic situation at the moment in the province and city of Tata… Local news reports speak of missing people, blocked roads, threatened homes, terrified residents and huge losses, after unprecedented rainfall and flooding.
He added: “Congratulations to all civil and military authorities and elected bodies for their great efforts.” “There is an urgent need for broader interventions and increased capacities to help the population in this difficult ordeal.”
