During a majestic funeral in the city of Khamisat, this afternoon, a young professor worked in the city of Arfoud, after being the victim of physical assault, on the left, left a big shock in the educational and community community. The accident is not only an isolated reality, but rather a blatant title of a state of value to collapse that our educational establishments have started to live and their environment.
The teacher’s mother, who is still in shock, could not make a declaration, confirming in a muffled voice: “I still do not absorb what happened to my daughter”, while the teacher’s father was transferred to the hospital after the funeral following a health crisis which she affected. A strong testimony came from her aunt, a woman who lives in the city of Al-Rashidiya, adjacent to the city of Erfoud, where Professor Hajar worked, where she said: “She was devoted, diligent and worked with a living professional conscience.
Despite what has been promoted on certain social media pages, the attacker is not 21 as rumor, but 28 years old, according to what his aunt also confirmed, who refuses each attempt to justify the crime with a teenager or an unreasonable person. We are faced with a mature and healthy young man, who has committed a complete criminal act, which requires firm security and social treatment.
Today, this crime must be read in its societal dimension, before it is a criminal file. No company can develop or increase without respecting the teacher. When respecting women and men of education falls, school falls and an entire generation falls with it. It is our duty as families, as an actor, as neighbors, as individuals, to reconsider the way we deal with this group, and to be support for them inside and outside educational establishments, because violence against the professor is violence against the future of our children.
What happened requires the urgent movement, in an organized way, in order to create mechanisms for the educational body of each threat. Among the urgent proposals: pleading for strict legal and professional insurance which protects the professor inside and outside the institution, by creating vigilance committees within institutions, in coordination with administrative executives and partner companies, organizing joint awareness campaigns with civil society and families concerning teaching staff and demanding national education.
This painful crime is not only an injury in the body of education, but a test of our values as a society. If this moment does not turn into a complete audit station, the next can be more dangerous.
May God have mercy on the professor, and did it among the martyrs, and inspired his family and his families with patience and comfort.
