“global petroleum prices”: shocking, Morocco 1st among Arab countries

Even though a drop in fuel prices has recently been recorded globally, it remains very minimal and has not fundamentally changed the situation since Morocco remains one of the countries with the highest fuel prices.

Indeed, Morocco occupies first place among the Arab countries where fuel prices are the highest, particularly for diesel, whose average cost per liter is around 14.79 Dirhams (1.4 US dollars). As for the average price of a liter of gasoline, it reaches 15.46 Dirhams, or approximately 1.54 US dollars.

This high position despite the global downward trend is an alarming indicator. The price of fuel in Morocco fell very little, which was not enough to take it out of the top rank of Arab countries.
