HIBAPRESS
In the early hours of Friday morning, a boat carrying 51 irregular migrants, including three women, was rescued after being stranded for three days off the coast of Tan-Tan.
Citizens had issued an urgent distress call to the competent authorities on the evening of Thursday, October 26th, demanding immediate intervention to rescue the boat, which was experiencing great difficulties at sea. This prompted an urgent response from the Royal Navy and the maritime Royal Gendarmerie.
According to available data, the passengers suffered from a severe lack of supplies and difficult climatic conditions, which worsened their health before the rescue operation took place late at night, and they were transported to land to receive the necessary medical attention.
