In a new qualitative operation, elements of the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Azrou, Ifrane province, managed to overthrow a dangerous network consisting of five people, active in the sale and distribution of drugs used in illegal abortion operations.
According to preliminary data, among the detainees are employees of the public health sector in the city of Meknes, as well as the manager of a hookah cafe in the Al-Hajj Qaddour area, who is considered the main supplier to the elements involved in this network. The operation came after careful tracking and continuous monitoring of the suspects' movements, where they were arrested and placed under custodial care by order of the competent Public Prosecution, pending further investigation to uncover the remaining potential suspects. This operation falls within the continuous efforts made by the Royal Gendarmerie services in Azrou and Ifrane to combat various forms of crime, where the security elements showed high professionalism and great effectiveness in confronting networks that threaten health and social security.
