The police elements in the regional security zone in the city of Kalaat Sraghna, in coordination with the services of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, managed, this Saturday morning, October 25th, to arrest two individuals suspected of being involved in a case related to the trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The first suspect was arrested at a traffic control point at the entrance to the city of Kalaat Sraghna, immediately after his arrival on a passenger bus coming from one of the cities in the north of the Kingdom, where the search operation resulted in the discovery of 2040 drug tablets in his possession, including 1198 Rivotril tablets and 842 ecstasy tablets, as well as 15 grams of cocaine. The ongoing investigations and investigations in this case also enabled the identification of a second person suspected of participating in this criminal activity, before he was arrested during a security operation carried out in the center of the city of Kalaat Sraghna. The suspects have been subjected to a judicial investigation which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to determine the remaining possible extensions of this criminal activity, and to reveal all the criminal acts attributed to those concerned.
