Baccalaureate 2024: A success rate of 40.45% among prisoners

The success rate among residents of penitentiary establishments who took the exams for the ordinary session of the 2024 baccalaureate reached 40.45%, the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) announced on Friday.
In a press release, the DGAPR notes that of the 1,399 resident candidates, 566 passed the ordinary session tests, an increase of 52.15% compared to 2023 (372 winners out of 1,372).
He added that the success rate among prisoners for this session is higher than the national rate for independent candidates (39.5%).
The DGAPR specifies that 118 prisoners obtained grades ranging from “Fairly good”, “Good” and “Very good”, or 20.84%, while the number of candidates for the resit exams stands at 521.
