HIBAPRESS has learned from informed sources that the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Imintanoute decided, yesterday, Friday, to prosecute a thirty-year-old man in custody on charges of intentional harm against a public official while performing his duties, resulting in injury, non-compliance, possession, consumption, and trafficking of drugs, and placing him in the local prison of Oudaia.
According to the newspaper's sources, the arrest was carried out by elements of the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Chichaoua, after a gendarme working at the territorial center of Majat was subjected to intentional harm by the detainee who was on a motorcycle, where the gendarme was seriously injured as a result of the force of the collision, while a significant amount of drugs prepared for promotion was found in the possession of the motorcycle driver. The gendarme was also transferred to the emergency room of the regional hospital in Chichaoua to receive the necessary first aid, while the accused was transferred to the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Chichaoua for an in-depth investigation and placed under police custody, to be presented to the Public Prosecution.
