Security authorities in Fez arrested a person in Fez a few days ago who claimed that a bomb was on board a plane in order to disrupt a flight.

According to the newspaper “Al Massae”, the authorities of the Fes-Saïss airport prevented a Moroccan resident of Belgium from boarding a plane bound for Belgium because of his delay.

The same source added that the person in question had reported the presence of a bomb on board the plane, which caused the flight to be delayed to verify the veracity of the information.

The management of Fez-Saïss airport filed a complaint on this subject with the competent public prosecutor’s office, which gave instructions to the royal gendarmerie to open a judicial investigation into the case and arrest the suspect.
