FDI: Net flow exceeds 10.1 billion dirhams at the end of May 2024

The net flow of foreign direct investments (FDI) amounted to more than 10.1 billion dirhams (MMDH) during the first five months of this year, against 4.8 MMDH during the same period a year earlier, according to the Office of Change.

Revenues from these investments increased by 19.6% to more than 16.16 billion dirhams and expenditure fell by 30.4% to 6.05 billion dirhams, the Office des Changes specifies in its recent bulletin on monthly indicators of foreign trade.

Regarding the net flow of Moroccan Direct Investments Abroad (IDME), it fell by 5.08 billion dirhams to -26 million dirhams (MDH) at the end of last May. The revenues from these investments increased by 26.3% and expenditure decreased by 30.9%.
