The Government Council approved, on Thursday, draft decree No. 2.22.1020 regarding the determination of the list of transfer pricing documents and the method of submitting them to the tax administration. The project was presented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah.
The official government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, explained during a press conference following the weekly council meeting that this project comes within the framework of adapting the Moroccan tax system to international standards and strengthening the means of controlling transfer pricing between companies affiliated with multinational groups.
The minister added that the decree defines the documents and information that must be included in the main file and the local file, which help to justify the transfer prices adopted by companies in their transactions with directly or indirectly related establishments outside Morocco, in addition to how to submit these files to the tax administration.
