The General Directorate of Meteorology expects today, Thursday, that the weather conditions will generally be characterized by relatively cold weather in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the Eastern region, the southeast, and the high plateaus.
It is also expected that the sky will be partly cloudy to overcast in the extreme northwest and southeast of the desert regions, as well as the formation of fog masses during the morning in the northwest of the southern regions. The winds will be relatively strong at times on the Mediterranean front and locally on the Atlantic coasts. The minimum temperatures will range between minus 04 and 01 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 01 and 06 degrees in the Rif, the southeast, and the high plateaus, and between 11 and 17 degrees in the desert regions and near the coasts, and will be between 04 and 10 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. As for the temperatures during the day, they will be decreasing in the southeast, and increasing or remaining without significant change in the rest of the areas. The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean front and the Strait of Gibraltar, and strong to very strong choppy between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and it will become rough to locally strong choppy during the afternoon, and rough to locally strong choppy north of Mehdia and south of Tarfaya.
