Moroccan violence arrests gendarmes in Italy

The security services of the city of Varese, in northern Italy, have opened a judicial investigation under the direction of the Attorney General of the Republic, in order to verify the criminal acts attributed to two gendarmes, working in the anti-drug squad, suspected of their involvement in a case linked to the attempted murder of a Moroccan immigrant.

Well-informed sources revealed that the victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and that the crime occurred in a forested area known for drug trafficking, on the outskirts of Malpensa International Airport.
According to the same source, the Carbinieri men involved were not on official business and were outside their working hours.

The two gendarmes were placed together in theoretical custody pending the investigation conducted under the direction of the public prosecutor, in order to discover all the circumstances, circumstances and contexts of this case.

In exchange, the General Directorate of the Italian Gendarmerie issued a decision to temporarily suspend the work of the two detainees, pending the conclusion of the judicial investigation, so that the necessary administrative measures can be determined against them.
