HIBAPRESS – I.S.
After the end of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, and amidst the events and inappropriate behavior witnessed during the tournament from some participating countries, and the riots accompanying the match between the Moroccan national team and Senegal, the Moroccan actor Youssef El Jundi appeared in a video expressing his pride in Morocco and his appreciation for the winter atmosphere that the country is known for.
El Jundi explained that his concern after the defeat was natural, but he quickly accepted the reality like the rest of the Moroccans, believing in the principle of "God's will and what He wills". He added that success sometimes generates tensions with other countries, especially those that have not yet developed, and that are dominated by a sense of unfair competition and a conspiracy mentality. El Jundi affirmed that Morocco, despite not winning the cup, remained fourth in the world, and raised the expectations of its people and the organization alike. He concluded his speech by emphasizing that this tournament was a lesson for everyone, calling on Moroccans to unite and care for each other, and to uplift each other, because unity and cooperation are the true guarantee of progress and success.
