The Council also reviewed draft law No. 01.26, which approves the aforementioned agreement, with the aim of completing the legal procedure for its adoption and entry into force, enabling the Kingdom to host this regional structure in the field of cybersecurity. The establishment of this center aims to enhance coordination and cooperation between African countries in the field of countering cyber threats and attacks, and to strengthen response mechanisms to digital incidents, in the context of the growing risks associated with information security at the regional and international levels. The agreement and the related draft law were presented by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
