The National Brigade of the Judicial Police opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, on the evening of Wednesday, February 18, to determine the circumstances, circumstances and backgrounds of a person who was the subject of a judicial investigation, attempting suicide, which resulted in his serious injuries.
Preliminary information from the investigation, supported by field inspections, indicates that the person in question jumped through the window of an office located on an upper floor at the headquarters of the National Brigade of the Judicial Police, during the search procedure with him on suspicion of his involvement in a penal case, which resulted in his serious injuries requiring his transfer to the hospital in a critical health condition.
The judicial investigations currently underway under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office are working to clarify the circumstances and circumstances of this incident, and to reveal its true backgrounds, at a time when the injured person was kept in the hospital for treatment.
