The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Monday, that the weather will remain relatively cold in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the High Plateaus.
It is also expected that the south of the country will witness the spread of tropical clouds carrying local thunderstorms, as well as the formation of other low and dense clouds, also accompanied by fog or light fog, over the northern and central plains, Sais, and the plains located west of the Atlas.
Strong winds are also expected in the Tangier region and the south of the country and locally in the Atlas Mountains and the Sais region.
Minimum temperatures will range between 2 and 6 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the High Plateaus, between 18 and 23 degrees in the far south, between 12 and 18 degrees in both the interior and east of the southern provinces, the Souss region and the southeast, and will be between 6 and 12 degrees in the rest of the other regions.
As for the temperatures during the day, they will be decreasing in the southeast of the Kingdom and in the far south, while they will be noticeably increasing in the rest of the country.
The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean front and in the Strait, and rough to very rough between Mahdia and Tarfaya, and slightly choppy to rough on the rest of the coasts.
