American President Donald Trump said on Friday that the battle in Iran had been militarily decided.
He added on his account on "Truth Social": "We will not forget that the allies in NATO refused to help in Iran." Trump later stated that he would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons, stressing that "there are no leaders left to talk to" in Iran. Trump confirmed that "NATO allies are refusing to help in the Strait of Hormuz, and complaining about rising oil prices." Trump accused NATO members of being "cowards" for not cooperating in the war on Iran. Trump wrote on his "Truth Social" platform: Without the United States of America, NATO is just an empty force! They did not want to join the battle to stop a nuclear Iran. And now, after this battle has been militarily decided, with very little risk to them, they complain about the rising oil prices they are forced to pay, but they refuse to help open the Strait of Hormuz, a simple military maneuver that is the only reason for rising oil prices. It's easy for them to do, with very little risk. Cowards, and we will not forget!"
