Security coordination between elements of the judicial police in Marrakech and elements of the judicial police in the security zone of Salé Al-Madina, in the early hours of Thursday morning, led to the recovery of a four-wheel drive car of the "Jeep" type, which had been registered as stolen earlier in Marrakech, following a security operation described as exciting at the level of the Al-Nour neighborhood in Sidi Moussa.
The arrest of the vehicle originating from the Red City came after a precise security chase, which resulted in the encirclement of two people who were on board; It turned out that one of them was the subject of a national search warrant, while his companion managed to escape to an unknown destination taking advantage of the circumstances of the chase. The security services found, after searching the stolen car, a significant amount of "cocaine", which reinforces the hypothesis of the arrested person's connection to criminal networks active in promoting hard drugs between cities. The suspect was kept under a custodial measure by instructions from the competent Public Prosecution, to deepen the investigation and identify all the potential extensions of this activity, while the competent authorities initiated the legal procedures necessary to hand over the seized car to its original owner in Marrakech as soon as the ongoing records were completed.
