HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The local authorities in the city of Casablanca have granted an additional 15-day grace period to the traders of the "Lafrai" market in Salmia to vacate their shops, before the total demolition of this commercial space, which is one of the most famous markets for selling used car spare parts in Morocco.
The authorities had started in the past days demolition operations that affected a number of shacks and random shops inside the market, as part of preparing the site and evacuating it gradually. This step falls within the project of redeveloping the area, where the new "Tessima" stadium project is expected to host, which will have a capacity of about 30,000 spectators, in the context of strengthening the sports infrastructure in the city of Casablanca.
