The vicinity of Bab Doukkala square in Marrakech experienced a state of alert on Tuesday evening amidst security and intelligence services, following the arrival of a group of people belonging to a Jewish sect, who began to perform rituals unfamiliar to the Marrakech street.
According to sources of the newspaper, members of the Jewish sect arrived on a tourist bus, where they stopped in front of the famous Bab Doukkala arch, and began performing religious rituals for about 15 minutes, before returning to the bus and leaving the place. Upon being notified of the incident, various security and intelligence services quickly moved to the scene, as well as the authorities of the Bab Doukkala and Chitaoui administrative annexes, in order to ascertain the circumstances of the situation that the historic arch of Bab Doukkala witnessed.
