HIBAPRESS – Abdel Latif Baraka
Dr. Abdel Ghani Kamel, head of the Sidi Badhaj commune, is contesting the parliamentary elections in the Al Haouz province as the head of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces party list. This electoral challenge aims for the party to present candidates who combine experience in local governance, competence, and the ability to advocate for the region's issues.
Abdel Ghani Kamel tops the list, followed by Abdel Wahid Farroukh as his deputy, then Khadija Bi in third place, and Lalla Radia El Wassai in fourth.
The party presents its list leader as a figure who combines training, practical knowledge, and experience in public affairs management, which qualifies him, according to observers of electoral affairs, to contribute to conveying the expectations of the residents of Amizmiz and the Al Haouz province to the legislative institution, and to defend the development and social files that concern the region.
This electoral event is of particular importance in light of the anticipated political competition in the Al Haouz province, as attention is focused on the nature of the programs and candidates and their ability to provide practical answers to the challenges related to territorial development, infrastructure, employment opportunities, supporting the local economy, and enhancing the region's attractiveness.
The Socialist Union list is betting on presenting a vision based on an integrated territorial development model governed by principles of equitable governance, while placing the issues of the residents and territorial justice at the core of parliamentary advocacy, thereby contributing to reducing territorial disparities and supporting economic and social projects in the province.
Thus, Abdel Ghani Kamel puts his experience in local governance and his focus on development advocacy to a new electoral test, at a time when voters in Al Haouz province are awaiting clear programs, actionable commitments, and candidates capable of transforming local demands into files within the elected institutions.
