The national pavilion of the United Arab Emirates at the Marrakech Air Show 2026, held at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base over four days, attracted a total of 6,328 visitors. The participating UAE entities held 82 business meetings with international institutions and companies, sector leaders, and government representatives.
A statement from the organizing body indicated that the UAE's participation witnessed the signing of two agreements between EDGE Group and the Directorate of National Defense in the Kingdom of Morocco, comprising a Memorandum of Understanding and a commercial contract, without revealing further details about their content.
During the last day of the exhibition, the pavilion received 3,100 visitors, the highest daily number since the event began. The participation allowed UAE entities to connect with military delegations and international institutions and companies specializing in defense, aviation, and space fields.
The pavilion, organized with support from the Ministry of Defense and the Defence Capabilities Development Authority, and under the supervision of ADNEC Group subsidiary Medya, included EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multilevel Group, Resource Industries, as well as Al Watan Al Deraa and Al Jundi magazines.
In a related context, Capital Events, the specialized event management arm of ADNEC Group, held 106 meetings during the exhibition days, aiming to promote upcoming editions of defense and security exhibitions and conferences organized by Abu Dhabi.
These meetings included 58 meetings to promote the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defense Conference, and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), scheduled to take place from January 25 to 29, 2027. Additionally, there were 29 meetings to promote the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) for 2028, and 19 meetings to promote the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR).
The participation falls within the framework of the UAE National Pavilion's 2026 tour, which includes other stops, such as the Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (SOFEX) in Jordan.
