HIBAPRESS – Tetouan
The Court of Appeal in Tetouan issued a sentence of 30 years imprisonment for the individual known as "Tagina," in connection with his involvement in the murder of young Adil inside the Marina Smir tourist resort on the outskirts of M'diq, in November 2024.
The events of the case date back to a dispute that erupted between the victim and the accused during the night, before it escalated into an assault with a bladed weapon, during which the young man sustained serious stab wounds that led to his death. Following the incident, the suspect left the scene and remained at large for over a year until his whereabouts were identified.
Security services apprehended the suspect in the city of Tangier in late April 2026, in an operation carried out in coordination between security services in Tangier and Tetouan, and with support from the Directorate General for National Territory Surveillance, before he was transferred to Tetouan to complete judicial proceedings.
