In the framework of strengthening cooperation and institutional coordination between Morocco and Spain, Sanaa Marouh, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Tarragona, received Elisabeth Romero Álvarez, the Deputy Delegate of the Spanish Government in the province, during her first visit to the Consulate General's headquarters.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common interest and to explore ways to develop cooperation between the two sides, which would enhance the friendly relations between the two countries and serve mutual interests.
The Spanish official was also briefed on the workflow in the various departments of the consulate and the services provided to members of the Moroccan community, in addition to the efforts made to modernize the consular administration and develop digital services, with the aim of simplifying administrative procedures, improving service quality, and speeding up the processing of applications.
This meeting comes within the framework of the institutional outreach program launched by the Consul General since she took office at the beginning of September, in the context of strengthening communication with Spanish authorities and enhancing joint coordination, in response to the expectations of the Moroccan community residing in the province.
