During the blessed month of Ramadan, the Mixed Surveillance Regional Committee in the province of Ifrane intensified its efforts to ensure the quality of foodstuffs offered on the local markets. These interventions have led to the seizure and destruction of large quantities of materials that are not suitable for consumption, in addition to recording several violations linked to the lack of respect for the laws regulating prices and quality.
The details of the result:
Decided and caused materials: approximately 415 kg of non -capricious foodstuffs were destroyed, including flour, carbonated drinks, semolina, couscous, vegetable butter, milk derivatives, chocolate, sausage, tomato sauces, dates and jam.
Recorded violations: The Committee has published 50 minutes, including the failure of the list of prices (18 violations) and has prohibited plastic bags (32 violations). Two commercial stores were also closed because they were not respected under the necessary health conditions.
In addition, the updated regional unit was received at the level of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Coordination in the employment of complaints in Region 7 of Erban via the national number 5757, which was dealt with by a sending jury, which led to the release of 4 additional violations.
These operations present themselves within the framework of the implementation of ministerial instructions to ensure a regular offer of local markets during the month of Ramadan, and to approach all forms of fraud, speculation and monopoly, in order to protect the consumer and to ensure their health security.
