The Directorate General of Meteorology expects, for Sunday, that the general weather conditions will be characterized by hot weather in the Gharb region, Walmas, the southeast of the country, the South, and also the Tadla plains.
It is also expected that many low clouds will form on the Mediterranean coast and in the Rif, where they will be accompanied by occasional and localized very light rains, in addition to fog banks forming in the morning and at night near the Atlantic coasts.
Unstable cells are also anticipated, accompanied by drops or thunder showers, which will affect the Atlas Mountains and their eastern foothills, as well as the eastern High Plateaus. Additionally, relatively strong to locally strong gusts of wind are expected in the Tangier region and the Mediterranean basin.
Minimum temperatures will range between 10 and 16 degrees in the Atlas Mountains and the Rif, and between 20 and 25 degrees in the southeast of the country, the interior of Souss, and the plains west of the Atlas. They will be between 15 and 22 degrees in the rest of the country's regions.
As for daytime temperatures, they are expected to rise.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough on the Mediterranean coast, in the strait, and along the Atlantic coast.
