The Minister of Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, revealed on Thursday morning that the number of observers who covered the electoral process reached 3006 observers.
He explained in a statement announcing the provisional election results that the number includes 2023 observers belonging to civil society associations, 783 observers affiliated with the National Council for Human Rights, in addition to 200 foreign observers representing non-governmental organizations and international and regional bodies from Africa, Europe, North America, Latin America, and the Middle East.
He continued that the Ministry of Interior has strengthened cooperation and coordination with the National Council for Human Rights by providing data and information related to the progress of the electoral process, thereby facilitating the work of observers.
