Today Wednesday, local authorities in the city of Beni Mellal launched a broader campaign aimed at freeing public property in a range of neighborhoods in the city.
Teams of authorities, security personnel and auxiliary forces participated in this campaign, and the authorities were able to seize dozens of vehicles and prevent a number of street vendors from exploiting public property in violation of the law.
This campaign follows repeated complaints from merchants and residents of the city regarding the spread of the phenomenon of occupation of public property, which prompted local authorities to intensify their efforts to prevent the occupation of sidewalks and public property in city streets.
