Oujda.. intensifies efforts to clean up sewage treatment facilities after “alert bulletins”

The Independent Collective Agency for Water and Electricity Distribution of Oujda has taken the initiative to intensify the efforts and ongoing operations to clean up the treatment facilities, in order to strengthen the transformation capacity of the water collection system, whether rainwater or wastewater.

These operations include manual and automatic cleaning to remove accumulated waste and clear blockages as part of the annual maintenance program for liquid treatment networks.

Thus, the Meteorological Directorate issued red and orange level alert bulletins regarding the expectations of rain showers and thunderstorms causing heavy amounts of rain in several regions of the Kingdom of Morocco, including the Eastern region.
