Heba Press. About Ayyash
In a press release published by the national office of the National Union of Territorial Communities and Delegated Directions affiliated to the Democratic Confederation of Labor, the union expressed its concern and dissatisfaction with what the employees of the Ouled Ayed community are doing in the province of Fkih Ben. Saleh is exposed there. The press release refers to what it describes as a “systematic attack and relentless war” against trade union freedoms and the confiscation of the right to strike, in violation of international conventions and the Moroccan Constitution of 2011.
The press release explains that the leader of the group retroactively deducted 13 days from the salaries of strikers, an unprecedented measure at the national level, despite the opening of sectoral dialogue on May 3, 2024 and the cessation of deductions from the salaries of strikers. The release also states that there is discrimination among employees based on their union affiliation.
The national office confirmed:
His pride in the firmness of the group’s employees in the face of the excesses of the group’s president.
Its full support for the struggle of workers to defend their just and legitimate rights.
Condemning the tyranny and arrogance of the group president and his attempts to undermine union work.
He called on all fighters of the Confederation to engage in forms of struggle to defend rights and achievements, with emphasis on framing any possible movement at the national and regional levels to deal with this situation. .
