A construction worker was killed Thursday morning after falling from the top of the construction site of a hotel, rue de la Résistance, near the Banque du Maroc in Tangier.
According to Heba Press sources, the worker was carrying out his tasks normally before losing his balance and falling from the top of the workshop, where he was seriously injured and bruised, which precipitated his death on the spot.
Local authorities arrived at the scene of the incident, accompanied by ambulance teams affiliated with Civil Protection, where the worker’s body was transported to the Tangier morgue. An investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of the incident. .
